In Character Information

character name: Virginia "Pepper" Potts
Fandom: Iron Man (Movieverse)
Timeline: End of second movie.
character's age: Early 30's

powers, skills, pets and equipment:
Canonly, Pepper has mad secretarial skills and the ability to wrangle the eccentric Tony Stark. She's also quite knowledgeable about things like art and has great (if conservative) taste in clothes.

Her day planner will be coming with her.

As for non-canon, I would gradually like for her to develop pyrokinesis, the ability to create and ultimately control fire.

canon history: Here and a back-up here.

If Tony makes a mess, with or without the suit, Pepper cleans it up. Usually while dodging his unprofessional advances. And that is the story of her life.

personality:

"You are the most capable, qualified, trustworthy person I've ever met."

Do you want to talk to the man who has his name on the door or the woman who knows what's going on?

Pepper is nothing if not dependable, to the point of almost being predictable. But having a boss as unpredictable as Tony Stark demands nothing less. It's difficult to tell if it's the job that she's devoted to or him, as both have admitted that they have no one else. But she does her absolute best to keep it professional, able to see both the big picture and tend to the details. She is the workaholic to his hedonism. In short, where Tony Stark ends, Pepper Potts begins.

She is normally the epitome of grace under pressure, but Pepper does have her moments. She is capable of losing her cool, most often when Tony does something especially crazy. Even so, she has the patience of a saint. She threatens to resign after finding out that he was Iron Man (the first to discover this), and again at the end of the second movie. But it's doubtful she'll ever leave him completely high and dry. The same would extend to any responsibility that she took on.

Despite her loyalty and role as a supporter, Pepper is a strong woman in her own right. She's intelligent, far from a push-over, and takes charge when she needs to...and she often needs to. It's hard to pull the wool over her eyes. But she also has a softer side, evidenced by the fact that her eyes were red from crying when Tony returned from captivity, and also when she made a gift out of his old arc reactor instead of throwing it away, as "proof that Tony Stark has a heart."

And like all good women, she can hold a grudge or bust some balls when necessary.
