In Which Sam is Shifty and Uncomfortable.
When Sam got Deon's message, he was a little concerned. First of all, he was telling him to come over to his mother's and second of all, he just didn't sound right. Which bothered Sam a little bit.
He had thought the date had gone well last night. When he'd last seen Devon, he was happy for the most part. The sudden change in mood definitely did not equate to everything being okay, but he had a feeling if it was something major, Sam would have heard about it otherwise, and Sam wouldn't have been only one called. So when Sam went to the door, he hesitated at first, before moving in and starting to open the door.
Even though the door was open, he still knocked lightly, letting whoever was home know that he was coming in. "Devon? Everything okay?"
