It makes me sad to see so many people so sad about today.
I get it. I get why your sad.
For once in my life though I can say without a doubt, I really have no feeling towards today. I used to get so upset about it because I felt like I didn't have anyone.
Valentine's Day is about spending time with the person/people you love. Right? Laura, Jordan and I are making spaghetti and my place and then going to see Definitely, Maybe tonight. I guess I've just been overwhelmed lately by the realization of how much I really have to be let down by a glorified day. While people often say it's a ridiculous holiday, I often find it's those who are pissed off in general because they feel like their "spending it alone". If you are with someone and still find it ridiculous, fine. :)
Just, one of the things that makes me a little down is seeing others around me down. I just want to scream at everyone I see posting things on various websites that they are sad that I love them. I really do. I wish I could save everyone from sadness today and give them a hug.
