I haven't written in so long, so I'm convinced this is probably utter crap- especially since it is written in second person, but hey I tried :D
Series: Tsubasa Chronicles Universe- Clow Country
Pairing: Touya/Yukito
Rating: PG
You think it's wrong. That he's your king and, as high mage, you really should not feel this way about him. You try to keep the formality in your relationship, despite the fact you were childhood friends. And then he smiles and teases you for it, and you can't help but drop the act.
You think yourself weak, because you can't deny him anything. Anything he asks for, and you would do your damnedest to give him it. You know you can't give him everything he needs; that there isn't a way you can fill every role that a partner of a king should- but gods how you want to try.
You continued with these doubts, even now after both of you have admitted the feelings you harbored for one another. It's the worry that keeps you up at night, just as it is keeping you awake now as you lie beside him. You're looking at him, thinking you aren't worthy of seeing how gorgeous he it when he's in a relaxed sleep.
You're considering leaving the bed and trailing down the hall to your old room, the room you know you could still, and should still sleep in. You only make it so far as slipping off your share of the covers before there is a hand around your wrist. You nearly jump, but manage to stay calm as you turn back to face him- knowing you'll find his eyes open and questioning.
"Yes Touya-ou?" You whisper, and you can see him frown at the formality and doubt that laces your voice.
"Yukito…" You can't say anything in reply because suddenly you're being pulled against him, and the arms he has around you say that you have few options but to stay put.
"You were trying to sneak back to your old room again." You can't deny it, because it's true and he knows it's true so there really is no point in arguing. You hear him sigh then, just as he pulls you closer. You know he's silently asking you to stay, and once again you know you can't deny him just as you can't deny your heart. Country and regulations be damned, you want to stay even though you know you shouldn't. But his hand on your back and his breathing resounding in your ear is all you really need to be convinced. You know that if you had really intended to leave, he would have let you go- and maybe the fact neither of you could deny each other anything is the only reassurance you need.
