Youth
I kind of worried about the youth of America. I decided to check my Flist before going to bed, only to find news of a dead ten year old from WA. Apparently he and his friends were imitating characters from Naruto (One of them being Gaara apparently), and said kid buried himself facedown in sand- and suffocated.
I'm sorry, but when children who are at least ten years old are doing things like this I worry for the future. I do not blame the cartoon at all, as I am sure many are going to. But honestly, are parents not teaching their kids anything? Personally when I was ten, I never contemplated burying myself alive- in sand or otherwise, game or not.
What happened to imaginary friends and playing catch?
TL;DR I'm starting to believe children are really really dumb sometimes. That or their parents don't instill survival skills.
