Ice Storms and Power Outages
So once again i have neglected this site and performing my writing abilities, but hey, life gets busy! So recently here Oklahoma we have had experienced a nasty ice storm causing over half a million of is Oklahomians, with no power. It started Sunday, December 9th and there are still people without power today on the 15th. And today it just started to snow. The roads were never bad to drive on, unless you had broken trees in your way from the ice busting branches off of the trees. There have been lots of people who have had lots of damage to not only cars, but homes as well. Right now as i look out the window, you can start to see the ground turning white and its only 12:30pm.
That isnt the only bad news that i have had in this last week, my cat Boo ran away about a month ago and still has not come home. I'm worried she has died from this weather, but there is hope she didnt cause there is this other black cat that runs around outside and i saw him the other day chasing birds in the parking lot. So i keep it in the back of my head that maybe just maybe she was picked up from someone and they gave her a home to live in and she is out of the cold. She had many problems with her attitude, so maybe this is what she wanted cause she was unhappy. Animals have a mind of their own, so who knows what was going through her head when she escaped out the front door. I miss that black cat though!
well anyway, only 83 days left til Emery's expected due date. Im excited about it, yet a little nervous at the same time cause i dont know how to be a mother. Even though several people say it comes naturally, im sure i will be scared at first on what to do. As for my belly growth... its still small, and there are many women who think im only 3 or 4 months pregnant when im 7 months. lol! It pays to be skinny i guess. =) Well that is all for now
