Adventure the Fourth: Watch for falling tumbleweeds [Action]

[The village seems so quiet with everyone gone off to the draft to fight for things they didn't believe in. It's quiet enough that Jonathan feels comfortable leaving the house without skirting around the super-intimidating crowds. He'll even take over some of the house responsibilities, like taking Andrew's pet for a walk

[The sudden disappearance of so many people doesn't really bother Goku. When he had heard there was some sort of draft going on and that people were going to fight some bad guys, he had been excited, but when he found out that he couldn't go, he stopped paying attention to the whole thing.

For now, he's just flying around town when he sees a sight so unusual, he has to stop and stare. Admittedly, he stopped while hovering about ten feet above the ground, but still.]

Why is that pig on a leash?

[oh. man. Jonathan stares. He might even be gaping.

It's Goku.

It's freaking Goku. There are no words for this moment.]

I. uh. Because I'm taking her for a walk. [OMGIT'SGOKU.]

I figured he'd have that sort of effect on people.

[Goku slowly floats downward before landing next to Jonathan. He doesn't really notice the staring, but he's never been good with noticing that sort of thing.] And you got her to go with you? Wow! Oolong always complained whenever anybody tried to get him to do anything! [Though, admittedly, it was usually something like "climb that cliff", "act as a decoy", or "go stop that emperor from taking over the world".]

Oolong complained about anything that didn't involve stealing panties, though. [Oh wait that probably should have stayed in his head.] I MEAN. Not like I'd know what you were talking about or anything,

Yeah, he did! [Wait a minute...] How do you know Oolong? ...Was he here before? [Because he's not here now, that's for sure.]

[likenappa]

.....Yes. Yes that's right! He was here and he left. [Thanks for providing that lie, Goku! It saved him the trouble of thinking of one himself.]

Well, that's too bad. This place seems pretty nice! I'd think he'd like it, 'cause it's so peaceful here! [Well, relatively speaking. Then again, Goku isn't going to let something like a few reality-warping experiments get in the way of his overwhelmingly positive opinion of this place.]

I guess anything's more peaceful than what you left -- uh. I mean, if Oolong's description was accurate.

By the way, I'm Jonathan, and this is Babe.

Nice to meet you! My name's Goku!

...By the way, did Oolong talk about anything that had happened recently back home? [Bulma's here as well, but she's from before Trunks was born, and Goku would rather not have somebody accidentally making it so Trunks never existed.]

[Oh he TOTALLY knows your name already, dude. Your name and every awesome thing you've ever done in your life except GT. We don't talk about GT.]

Um.. I don't really think so. I didn't know him all that well. [SHIFTY EYES. Jonathan is terrible with lies. They make him break out in a cold sweat.]

[Nobody talks about GT. Nobody. Plus, I haven't seen it.]

[Goku breathes a sigh of relief.] That's good. One of my friends is here, and there's some things that I really don't want her knowing about just yet. It's supposed to be pretty important, from what I've been told.

[likenappa]

[You're not missing much. Except Chichi bitchslapping Goten for giving her sass. That was kind of awesome.]

Really? What's the harm in telling someone about how awesome your adventures have been?

[4starsavior]

Well, this is a bit different. I can talk about the bad guys I fought, yeah, but if she found out about some parts of it, then some important people might never exist and we'd all be dead in the past or something like that.

You mean like a time paradox?

[4starsavior]

I think that's what it was, yeah. Guess we'll just have to hope for the best! I dunno what'd happen if one of those time parabox things happened, but I'd think it would've happened by now if it did! [Stupid confusing time travel...]

You'd probably disappear if things got too out of hand. It's best not to mess with it. [...Would that stop GT from happening? It's something to consider.]
