(no subject)
everything is new to me. palm trees, the flatness of the florida, and mosquito bites in january! i have been wearing tshirts and flip flops all week. it's crazy and awesome. i am just nervous about the summertime - i am going to melt.
i am having some luck. the first place i applied for a job, i was hired on the spot (i start friday) and told i look like ali hilfiger - again. haha. i am getting that more frequently. i think she is pretty, i just hope people don't think i am like her.
the car search isn't going so well. i am going to be saving a whole bunch and looking around some more. i want to be smart. i will rely on rides for now.
i looked into taking some classes, but the out of state tuition is a lot. i am going to wait until the summer when i will have become a florida resident.
i miss everyone and, as soon as we are able to, gary and i want to visit nashville. i hope we can find a place to stay...anyone have a floor we could crash on?
it is so great seeing gary everyday. he is an assistant manager for regal cinemas, so i go to work for him and watch movies all night. it gets lonely watching movies every night by myself, but it is alright. i am meeting people slowly and getting used to all the changes. we're spending lots of time together to make up for the past eight months of being apart.
i am a crazy girl. i gave up everything i had and started completely over because i fell in love. it is a powerful thing, but is absolutely wonderful.
