it's hard to find a smile
one of my best friends from high school just called me to tell me she is engaged. they have this amazing relationship we all dream of. i am happy for her, or trying to be.
as soon as she called me, another friend, from tennessee, told me her dad was very seriously ill and is looking for someone who understands the pain she feels. i do. it's funny, because i had been so undecided about if i really should go back to nashville or if i should stick out another semester here in wilmington. i prayed about it, though, and now i have my answer. i am needed in nashville so that is where i am going to go. i feel a calm about the final decision.
