Could Joe Biden please do something before I forget he is our country's Vice President?
I think I've seen him twice since he and Obama have entered office.
In other news:
I applied for the Undergraduate Research Assistant position today. It pays a whopping $400 a week. There are 2 positions available. I hope to get one. I'm not holding my breath. I'm required to do an independent research project within the larger project. I would then present my research to the American Sociological Association and the Southern Sociological Society in Spring 2010.
Fuck.
No pressure or anything.
So many other qualified people have applied. I will not be devastated if I don't get this because a few of my colleagues that worked on the project this summer are applying. I really really want it though.
I hope everyone is doing well.
