(no subject)
here is an update on my life:
i'm in my third year of college, and i'm on christmas break. i have one month until i'm 20, three months until i go to spain for spring break with my boyfriend jamie, four months until his 22nd birthday and our two-year anniversary, and five months until i start my engineering internship in texas. things are absolutely wonderful. sometimes i think of things and i just want to cry because i feel so lucky and blessed and like i don't deserve any of it.
here is what i got for christmas:
my family got me a canon powershot SD870!!!!! and a 2 GB card for it. i also got a levenger agenda that i really wanted, three old playstation 2 games that i really wanted, a really dorky looking poncho to wear on my scooter when it rains....., and $600.
jamie got me a wonderful red sweater, a really adorable furry trapper hat that i wanted very badly, a pair of red girl boxers, a 2 GB memory card, and a half-filled photo album for 2007. i love it!!
jamie's family got me a huge basket of popcorn supplies (i love popcorn!!!), a little purse with university of florida stuff on it, and they made me a really wonderful pink university of florida fleece blanket. jamie's grandmother also gave me a penguin toy that i had to "act" with in a play at thankgiving..... very embarrassing! but it's so cute.
i'm so happy right now, and i've been so happy for the past few days, weeks, months. i feel like nothing can go wrong.
my textbooks for next semester arrived a few days ago. "materials science & engineering," "facilities planning," "operations research," and "mathematical statistics." ooh i'm excited for next semester!
i can't describe how happy i am! :) :)
