Thomas is lovely and sweet and I really, really hope we see more of him. That ending was just...really unfair. :( I liked him a lot and overall thought the episode was interesting. I just...love his character. It's kind of similar to the JJ thing, except he's less dorky and stuff. I don't know.
The bits with Johnny White were just fucking boring and stupid though and I hope we're rid of him for good.
Pandora is annoying me less and less as the season goes on (I thought it might be the opposite, so that's good) and Pandora/Thomas is adorable, I hope they actually get a chance at a relationship.
I thought the reveal that Emily was the one who kissed Naomi was really badly handled? Like I know everyone kind of knew it already but it just felt rushed and forced and stupid. I think it was weird for Emily to just say it like that when she's obviously been keeping it secret for ages? Idk.
I liked the bit with the two of them at the party though, a lot. That felt much more realistic. And the best bit? EFFY WATCHING THE CONVERSATION. I love how she's so interested in the whole thing and there's been no explanation for that. I'm totally shipping Effy/Emily. SO HARD.
Also, I lol'd at Katie trying to be all friendly with Effy and Effy just totally brushing her off. Amazing.
Oh! And all of Effy's family drama. Idk what to think about that. It's just...we've all been so programmed to believe that Effy doesn't really care about anything/anyone (except Tony. STONEMCEST LIVES!) that it's really hard, now, when they've expanded her character and given her friends and everything. Like, I CAN believe it, it's just a struggle.
So not interested in Effy/Cook or Effy/Freddie, but I did see this:
And my mind immediately leapt to THREESOME. Seeing as I ship Cook/Freddie and just love Effy whatever happens, it's an understandable conclusion. Which I will probably end up writing at some point. What IS it with me and threesomes?!
I also want to write Effy/Emily, and some twincest I think, but I'm holding out until at least next week's episode because it seems like it'll be focusing on the girls a bit more. Half naked and stuff. That'll be fun.
Oh! And, I was thinking, has anyone considered cross-season shipping? Like, old characters with new characters? Because I haven't seen anyone mention it, but I was thinking about it today and I wondered if it'd end up happening. I've seen some pretty bizarre (but cool!) Skins crossovers before so it's not that crazy considering it'd be like, the same universe and all, and actually not unlikely for a bunch of these people to meet. But idk about pairings. DISCUSS?
