Kittens and a Youtube video. :)
First of all, MOAR KITTEN NEWS. My Dad's friend came to pick up Sid and it turns out Sid is a girl, haha. And then I was all "SO what are we doing about Alphonso?" and apparently, WE'RE KEEPING HIM. AS WELL AS SKANDAR. :D :D :D
Except they were like "but the name Alphonso seriously has to go!" haha, and now he's Caspian. :/ I AM UNSURE ABOUT IT. I like it because it fits with the Narnia theme and it's a pretty cool name, and he does kind of look like a Caspian, but...I AM NOT A CASPIAN FAN, REALLY.
The woman who came to get Sid brought her teenage daughter and when my Dad was talking about names we'd considered, he mentioned Caspian and the girl was like "OMG AFTER CASPIAN IN THE NARNIA MOVIE? HE IS SOOOO CUTE." And she started talking to me about him and I was like >:( and nearly got into a whole Skandarwin vs. Bin Bons argument with her, but managed to contain myself.
Also, hedonisticated is awesome and brought this video of the National Movie Awards arrivals to my attention:
She helpfully included the times that the Narnia cast appear! Will appears around 0:40 and does his usual red-carpet-puzzled expression but then smiles. ♥ Then they all wander and sign things for a bit. GOD, SKANDAR'S SMIRK. At about 1:14 Anna walks up to Will and he puts his arm around her and kisses her on the cheek and it's adorable. Anna runs her fingers through her hair around 1:17 and it is HOT, and then at 1:30 Georgie bounces up and down and is cute. Anna is hot again at 1:55 as she looks over her shoulder while posing for photos, and then they appear again at 3:00 and get their names yelled incessantly. ENJOY, BBS.
