Don't worry! I will not be only posting about Jedward from now on! I'd like to say that was a momentary lapse in my sanity, but it appears to be continuing, so we'll just have to see. (I may have bought a t-shirt and downloaded an album; it doesn't look promising

Also, I was wondering (since this scene always kind of interested me in the layers of bad-things-going-on-for-the-Botwins) what you thought of the scene towards the end of the season when Shane first starts "talking to" Judah, right after Silas comes home beat up? Because Nancy's face in that scene OH MY GOD, when she's hugging Silas and looking over his shoulder at Shane, and just...adjfl;adjsf it really interests me, and I was wondering what your thoughts were on it.

I actually capped that scene and then totally forgot to include it, whoops. I love that part. I mean, it's so heartbreaking, and it's SO well-done, with all the drama building up and like that gradual realisation that Shane isn't just being annoying. There's this sense of panic because it feels like so many things are going wrong at once and THE LOOK ON NANCY'S FACE augh.

And I have trouble with mother/son shipping, yeah, but I've been known to ship aunt/nephew, so...yeah. (It involved time travel-into-the-past and for a long time she didn't know who he was, so that's...something? But I still ship them after she finds out. So yeah.)

Lol, there is a difference there, though! The problem with parent/child is the fact that (usually) one of those people RAISED the other, so the moral issues are a much bigger deal. Aunt/nephew still (usually) gives one person an age advantage, but otherwise it doesn't seem like such an awful thing. Especially if they weren't aware of the relation at first! (I'm curious about what fandom this is now.)
