Writing Matthew was the most fun. I want to write more of him. IT WAS SO EASY, TOO. HE'S JUST A DELIGHT. I'm glad you liked my Kat, I kept almost making her sound like kind of a bitch by mistake - but I had this image of their relationship in my head where he was head over heels in love with her and she was just like "he's kind of a goon but all right" so it ended up working.
PAGET DID PLAY ANTON'S MOTHER. IN A SHOW CALLED HUFF. ISN'T THAT THE WEIRDEST THING?? I still can't get over it, it must have been so weird to work with him on CM too. She must have had all these motherly acting instincts. And oooomg, she was Kathy on Friends! You know the girl that Joey dated, and Chandler fell in love with? She had like, short reddish hair back then. I've known this for a while but every time I remember I'm like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH, and if I catch one of the episodes on screen I'm just transfixed trying to picture her as Prentiss again.
I HAD TO INCLUDE THE DRAWING THING EVEN THOUGH I INITIALLY MENTIONED IT TO YOU AS A JOKE. HE WOULD.
Awkward conversations are my favourite. ALSO MEAN GIRLS QUOTES. Always relevant. And why is it so easy to hear Anton saying 'boob' repeatedly? I could imagine that so easily too.
Ahhhh so glad you liked it, your reaction was exactly what I was going for. Laughter but also finding the sex hot. And maybe even a little bit of laughter during the sex because they were all slightly incompetent and amusing? MAYBE THAT WAS JUST ME. Thank you thooooough, the sex was really daunting in this because up until then it was just like AWKWARD FUN TIMES, but it felt weird for there to be no sex? So yeah. AND OF COURSE THEY WOULD LET ANTON STAY.
Anton did an interview the other day where someone mentioned a photoshoot he did and he was like "yeah, with Kat Dennings! My friend Kat!" all smiling to himself and it was the CUTEST THING. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

RIGHT?? I started making this ridiculous chart thing because I couldn't get over all these connections, like how easy it is to connect one ship to another, or how it's like INSTA-THREESOME half the time because two actors have been the love interest of an actress or WHATEVER. And yeah, it just got totally out of hand. ANTON AND JESSE EISENBERG HAVE BOTH MADE OUT WITH KRISTEN STEWART. ANDREW GARFIELD AND BEN BARNES HAVE BOTH BEEN IN MOVIES WITH ROBERT SHEEHAN. ZOOEY DESCHANEL HAS PLAYED THE LOVE INTEREST OF BOTH JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT AND PAUL DANO. I could go on.
