My username is: likecharity from the song 'You Make Me Like Charity' by The Knife, one of my favourite bands. I picked it without thinking that much, and I'm not particularly happy with it, but I feel like renaming causes too much confusion to be worth it.
My journal name is: "instead of paying enough taxes", which is the following line from that song. You make me like charity/instead of paying enough taxes.
My title is: "i'm not trying to wake you up" from 'Pull A U' by The Kills. EVERYTHING IS LYRICS FOR ME.
My friends page is called: "it's just the sound of my heart' from the same song. You can barely hear that line, I only noticed it when I was watching a video of a live performance. It just really stood out to me.
My default icon is: I recently changed it from the one of Caleb with the guitar to Alison Mosshart being hot with a gun in the video for 'Treat Me Like Your Mother' by The Dead Weather. Which is awesome. The icon was made by terminologique.
I need some True Blood icons. Speaking of True Blood, I started downloading the S2 finale when I got up this morning and THE DOWNLOAD RANDOMLY FAILED AT THE LAST MINUTE. *shakes fist* I'm having to start all over again. I do not have enough patience for this.
