Sitting down on the edge of his bed, Rachel tugged off her shoes and flopped backwards onto the mattress behind her. They'd spent all day walking around New York trying to find a suitable flat together. Firstly her feet really hurt, and secondly she was so hungry she could eat about anything.
Rotating her feet at the ankles, Rachel tried to work out the kinks and numbness from them. Turning her head she looked across the room at Finn and smiled happily. Honestly she'd never expected him to come to school in New York and be close to her, but to have him want to stay so they could be together. She'd fallen in love with him again in that moment, hearing those words fall from his lips. With was the reason they'd spent the whole day looking for an apartment together. Smiling she watched her 'country boy' the man who had surprised her on so many occasions throughout their time together.
"So," she said finally, "Did you like any of the places we saw today?"
