[Accidental Video] I blame Hermy for this, okay.
[The video shows a familiar location - Renji's quarters in the Sixth Squad barracks. The room is currently empty, but as the recording continues the door slides open and Renji appears, looking agitated. He's holding his arms crossed awkwardly against his stomach, and there's a small-ish lump underneath the front of his robe that seems to be...moving?
He starts to close the door with his foot, but one of the unseated squad members appears behind him in the hallway.]
Ah, Abarai-fukutaichou! Kuchiki-taichou was looking for-

[Renji cuts the perplexed young Shinigami off abruptly, closing the door in his face. Turning to face the empty room, he exhales loudly, shoulders slumping in relief. Reaching into the front of his Shinigami uniform with one hand, he pulls out a small black and tan coloured puppy he's obviously been hiding under his robes.
As soon as he pulls it out, the puppy begins to wriggle and lick every exposed part of him it can reach, letting out tiny little yelps of excitement. Renji flinches at the noise, shushing it.]
Hey. Cut that out. You've gotta be quiet. If Taichou finds out you're here, he'll make me get rid of you.
[At the sound of his voice, the puppy begins to wag its stubby tail happily. Renji sighs, and the feed cuts out.]
