ELF: A Wonderful Weekend
ELF is now ov-vah, but man, did I have a blast. There were fangirls and laughter and nerdiness and John and Sean and Elijah. And it was gooooood. My three girls leave me tomorrow (pending Katrina and airline status) and then my Real Life shall re-commence. Poo.
Many highlights today, the best of which being when Elijah decided to call Dom (and then Billy) and put them on speakerphone. Dom first, and I know at least two people who recorded it, so there will be video SOON. Have re-listened only once so forgive the paraphrasing, but the best part of the exchange went something like this:
Dom: Hello?
Elijah: Hey, its Elijah.
Dom: Hellooooo, gay boy!
AUDIENCE: *gasps of laughter and much death*
Elijah: ...uh, you're on speaker phone, dude.
Dom: Oh! Um, you see, "gay boy" is just a term of endearment. For people who are ONLY FRIENDS. In Hollywood, you know.
Dude. This fandom just writes itself, really. *loves on them massively*
And when we called Billy, Elijah (wisely) answered the phone himself first, and then put Billy on speakerphone so we could sing him Happy Birthday. Sho cute.
Elijah was so wonderful and gracious and hilarious and so patient, even though he HAD to have been so very beyond exhausted. All of them were. Sean and John and Elijah made anything that was even slightly annoying or inconvienent about this weekend so completely worth it because they were so awesome to us.
Anyways, I'm rambling and there are very sleepy fangirls in my room that want to go the hell to bed. So: some night soon there will be pictures and more details. But tonight is not that night.
