How did you first hear of/get involved with One Direction fandom?: Oh god. I think I heard WMYB in the car on the way to Disneyland and then we kept playing it over and over and then I wanted to listen to their music when I got home and then there was a gaysplosion and I spiraled out of control. Favorite One Direction fanwork?: the hunger in my heart by likecharity, though the one she posted today looks like it will be pretty amazing as well! There are others I really adore as well, but that was the first one to come to mind. I also really love anything by aestivalblue and I'm currently really enjoying the homeless!Harry soupkitchenvolunteer!Louis kink meme fill by suzie_shooter. Favorite member(s)/ship(s)?: I love all their faces so much. Harry was my favorite first, but Liam is sneaking up on me very quickly. Harry/Louis is my OTP but I'll read anything involving either of them and also just any pairing in general. There doesn't even have to be a pairing. Fuck. What has this fandom done to me? Favorite One Direction song?: I love love LOVE their cover of Torn, but if I have to pick a song that's actually theirs, then One Thing (specifically their acoustic version). Do you have a favorite video of the boys?: Can I choose all of them? I'll choose two: The Mario Kart interview where driving in Mario Kart is a metaphor for sex, and the boys performing Torn at the judges houses, because it's so raw and beautiful and they've just formed into a band and are already so close. <3

Also, I am 1/3 of podramble, a fannish podcast focusing on tropes (and in the episode that's being edited right now, I squee about One Direction for, oh, the entire thing, basically). Hooray! TSN fandom is pretty wonderful, and I'm sad it's winding down somewhat. I am very glad, however, that this brand new shiny fandom is keeping me otherwise occupied! :D
