Um, other than that... you can get most toiletries there, but they're pretty expensive. bring enough deodorant and toothpaste to last you the year, because you're probably not going to find anything good in Japan that isn't insanely expensive. other than that, try to pack as little as possible, maybe try to make your second bag only presents for your host family and disposable stuff (toiletries, other things you won't need to bring back to america at the end of the year) so that you have a whole back for the insane amount of stuff you will buy in Japan. And bring a shit ton of money. You will want to spend it. ksjda
Oh, and bring presents for your host family, some small things for your future japanese friends, and one or two odds and ends from your home town/college you can give as presents should a random need arrive. :P

aghhh jeans. do you think i could manage at uniqlo? i'm like idk a size sixish here. they are so bulky and i never wear them anymore but my brain keeps assuming they will be nice in winter. :/ lsdkj why am i stressing over this.
what would you recommend for gifts!
