Floating upon this surface for the birds

warning: when I tell stories I recollect every single detail.

after a mediocre/slightly horrible week, I had 2 wondrous days (Friday and Saturday). Oh and on Thursday night I got drunk with my aunts and uncles at a big Journalism awards show gala where my grandpa got a posthumous lifetime achievement award. My uncle made a hilarious speech and then afterwards we all went to a bar and accidentally forgot the award ( a huge-ass glass vase ) there, my dad had to go get it back the next day. When we got home I did two Math Assignments, and yes, I was still drunk, and I didn't even read over them before I handed it in. haha but I'm sure I did a pretty sweet-ass job.
Friday was Carp day at my school. I WAS the assembly (being in 2 bands and 2 videos) The video was amazing, justin edited it beautifully as always, lightsaber battle and all. Funkasaurus Rex Rocked pink floyd's Time and me and Ed sang beautifully and Jake rocked hard and John poured his soul into a flawless solo. Then Funkaluffagus We FUNKIFIZED Earl Haig with Tower of Power's You Gotta Funkifize. It was the most epic thing ever to happen in my days at Earl Haig. We were so Loud and tight and Funky that it was impossible to not dance and be flabbergasted, which everyone was. People shall talk of it for years to come, I hope. Inbetween performances I ran to World Issues class and did my 10 minute presentation on the Kyoto Protocol, then ran back with Ed to go onstage immediately. Then I went and did 2 in-class math assignments and me, Leah (who rules), Emily and Christine decided to do the rest on monday and left to go jump on one of the 5 inflatable JUMPING CASTLES on our field! 5! there was even an inflatable maze (which got deflated soon after they realized people were passing out inside due to the extreme heat) and an inflatable climbing wall and battle thingy. Then I sang "keep On Rockin' in the Free World" with Ed and Rocketship Fantastica, cause bands were set up outside the school and rocking. THen we played (Funkasaurus Rex) and we played Rapper's delight and Pin the Tail on the funky, get down and groove, slow ride, the joker, COCKY hahaha, and Paradise City haha. ANd I tried to get them to play Wannabe by the spice girls but ended up singing it alone....
Then Ed lent me 7 dollars so I could go bowling, and I went bowling with Kathryn, Brian and Jared. We had a splendid time and laughed a lot, they laughed a lot everytime I bowled because I put my entire body into it and fell forward onto my stomach a lot. I love bowling though, even though I'm not the best at it. Then we got back to school and I sat in the main hall with people and Jake and I listened to Golden Ticket on his ipod. Then school ended and Jake, Alex, Alexis and I discussed the people who handed in applications to become Haig Radio producers. Then we walked to the park and ran through the water park to cool down and we met Julian and him and Jake and me went to Sheppard and got food and Jake treated us to Yogen Fruz. Then I came home and napped cause it was way too hot. and I watched a Beatles documentary on TV and then helped my mom remove a rock-hard Dead Squirrel from the filter in our furnace. it had been there since the fall we think, which means the air in our house was being filtered through a dead squirrel. It had somehow been preserved in the heat or something. My mom pulled it out with her hands (wearing gloves) and my dad freaked out and ran away, as did I. Then I talked to $ue Bedford who I hadn't seen for quite a while. I went to Finch where she picked me up and went to her house. She told me of her many adventures of being a bartender for just 3 weeks and we played guitar and caught up on each other's lives. Then we drove to Julian Katz's Pool Party where our whole Radio booth gang from lat year was there and we swam and I smoked up for the first time in a month, which was wonderful. Sue drove me to the subway and I went home and slept.
Today (saturday) during the day I pretended I was cleaning my room but lay half-asleep on my bed because the unbearable made me sweat profusely and gave me no energy whatsoever to move around. Then I helped my mom make chilli and went to the grocery store. But every 20 minutes I went over to the sprinkler and soaked my ed and shirt, which dried quickly in the heat so I did it again and again. At 6:45 I left for the school and saw The Vagina Monologues directed by my friend Ksenia, starring herself (who was wonderful), Neta Rice (who was fantastic, and knows a shitload of names for vagina) Sara Farb (who put tears in my eyes), Erika Siren (who is finnish, and AWESOME....CUNT!) and Lauren Weisz (who made me laugh so hard) and Kimya and Ally who were great. Basically everyone had extremely strong performances and I was thoroughly impressed by the whole thing, as well as moved and inspired and educated and turned on a little. I Love Vaginas a lot. perhaps even more than you. seriously.
Then Jared drove Ashlynn, Lauren, Ksenia and I downtown and we blasted Neil Young and put the convertable roof down and then played Sublime and Aretha Franklin. They went to the Future bakery where a bunch of people involved in the show went and Ashlynn and Jared came with me to my gig at the 12:30 bar where I was accompanying 2 amazing guitarists; Brian and Darrell (who I've been jamming with). We played so many wicked covers, such as: Drive My Car, Let it Be, Sex and Candy, Cocaine, Sittin' on the dock of the Bay, Karma Police, Woodstock, Hey Joe, Stuck in the middle with you, Chameleon, The Thrill is Gone, Old Man, Knockin on Heaven's door, Crossroads, I Shot the Sherriff, Redemption Song and much more which I've forgotten, but we were awesome...
and I taped my hands and fingers up with duct tape to try and numb the pain which was pretty unbearable by the 3rd set, but I kept playing my hardest cause we had such a wicked groove going on. THen all my friends who were at the Future Bakery came to watch and Jared joined in on bass and we played some more. My brother showed up too. It was a fun show indeed. my hands are a little swollen and all this typing isn't helping much. A bunch of people left but we saw them again in the park on the way to the night bus stop.
Well, my eyes hurt a lot and my fingers can't move very well so I best get some ice and pass out in my bed. I love you all. so very much. if you need loving I will always be here to give it. lovelovelovelovelove..... cunt
