Gratitude

I love my little family so much.

Tonight we got a hotspot so that Jackson could use his new Pokémon acct on the iPad when we go out to “catch and spin a guy” he is so excited to catch up and get all the new guys he doesn’t have yet. However he played for Chris and me for the past year on our phones and knows all the Pokémon and what to do with them.

Jackson also told me tonight out of the blue, “I love our house.” I told him Mom and Dad love it too and we were lucky to find it because sometimes cool houses have more than one buyer who want it. We found this house of ours 8 months after it got on the market. Incredible! Our beautiful house in the cul de sac. And I love our city too. And we lucked out with me getting the teaching job just across the street and jack now goes to 1st grade there too.

Our baby girl is coming at Xmas time. It’s going to be awesome. Jackson is looking forward to having her here and tonight as we went to bed he asked, “Could she sleep in my bed with me when she moves into my room?” He knows it would be when she is about 3 years old. What he doesn’t know is that he probably wouldn’t like to share a bed with her. The plan is she’ll have her toddler bed in there with him for about a year until he moves out into the living room with a divider. He likes the idea when I told him he would have the TV in there.

Tomorrow Chris begins his new job that he’ll have to commute about 40 min w/o traffic, but he will get to work from home twice a week on the weekend and go into the office the 3 other days. I hope it’ll be as low stress as it sounds: customer service/tech support via email only! He dislikes working on the phones at the old job. Plus he will work with a bunch of women in his dept. I hope it’ll be a good change for him!
