Mucho busy
haven't updated in uhm FOREVER. sorry. ive just been so ridiculously busy lately. uhm lots and lots of lovely days with Samantha which of course have been muy excellente. seriously, every second i spend with her is just better than the last. just this past week was like the best one EVER. i got to see her pretty much everyday which was like the awesomest thing ever. and on tuesday, a chapter was closed in the life of Brian E. Jones as I finally met my long time hero Tom Delonge, formerly of Blink-182 and now in Angels and Airwaves. he was like THE NICEST GUY EVER and signed us autographs and talked to us and stuff. it was just a surreal moment. thursday and friday were also totally sweet cuz i slept over my sammy boo's house and then spent all of friday with her down the shore and it was like magic or something of that sort. tomorrow is my senior prom and although it's sad to say, im pretty much ending my high school career. it's been a wild ride.
So lately everyone has been telling me what a great experience college is going to be and how much cooler than high school it is. Those people are so stupid. They never spent time with "us". They never met their best friends in freshman year after finding out they were as big a Blink-182 fan as you. They never made up a gentlemen's club called the Ruckus Party Men. They never spent a day at the Casa De Mulroy. They never got naked on stage with 9:18. They never tried to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon. They never played in a band and rocked out for all the kids at their high school. They never got drunk on a recruit trip and watched their friend throw up in some girl's sink. They never sang Blink lyrics in Latin class. They never became the captain of their swim team. They never won a Jersey City, Hudson County, and North Jersey Championship four years in a row. They never took a trip into New York to meet Tom Delonge. They never found kids who they had so much in common with and had such a good time with that they knew right away that they'd stay friends forever. They never fell in love with a beautiful girl who turned their world around and changed their perspective on life in no time at all.
Here's to the past four years. They've been fuckin awesome.
