Do you guys think that parents should respect their kids enough to give them privacy or do you think we should recieve none until were 18?

i think that we should recieve privacy once we earned it. and trust me you'll get it, hopefully. I htink sometimes your parents carry it too far, but hey what do i know right?

i think we should have some privacy, but we'll never get it... parents are ALL like that... lol

they mean well... they just want to be a part of our lives and want to protect us from anything that they can... i know what you mean though.

Privacy now! As long as we give them respect and tell them what they want to hear, then we deserve our privacy. Im sure they hated it when their parents asked them aobut our personal life!

i think that parents cross the line sometimes and get way too involved with their kids lives and it just fucks with the kids and its lame because everyone needs to be alone somtimes and with loser parents, sometimes kids cant have that freedom. what im trying to say is that when parents get too involved, it really does something to the kids and when the kids are out on their own without parents, they dont know what to do.

exactly. and when they are not forced to see them anymore then they are never going to come around and they wont have a relationship with their kids because they decided to be over protective (for a lack of a better word).

i agree with you, jess. specially for a journal. but oh well...:-/. we have no control. i just caught my mom reading mine, only mine friends only and she cant....but i saw her looking at it. she thinks i didnt see her....haha. oh well, i have nothing to hide and shes probly reading yours. so yea...ill ttyl though kk?
