She'd only come back once to see if her note had been picked up, and admittedly she really hadn't given it enough time. Still, Terry was curious as hell about the man behind the strange little exchange...and the only thing worse than a curious scientist was a curious scientist who was also a drummer.
Heading back up to her apartment, she spent half an hour beating any surface she could find before she finally put her nervous energy behind the kit where it belonged. She didn't time it, but she beat on her kit for a good long while in a session that would have done John Bohnam proud. Finishing her heaping helping of irony with a little homage, she even stuck in her DVD of THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME and played along to "Moby Dick" until her shoulders hurt.
When she finally felt weary enough to settle down for a while, she realized just how much time had gone by and found that she was restless all over again.
Grabbing her jacket, she slipped it on and headed back outside again to see if there was anything to find, but instead of finding a new note she found an empty street...save for a man that was hovering, definitely hovering near the spot on the sidewalk where her note was wedged.
"Hey!" she called out curiously, figuring she had nothing to lose. "You looking for something, bro?"
