Stupid American elections and George W Bush.
Mr Burn went and checked where my ucas form had got to, and, basically, someone (he neglected to say who) had lost it, weeks ago. If I hadn't said anything, nobody "would have noticed". Thanks for the wonderful system, Newstead. And then he went on to say "it doesn't really matter that it's gone in late - you're still ahead of a lot of people." WTF about all those talks saying 'the sooner your form gets sent off, the better'?! Do they mean nothing?!
I learnt how to use the washing machine and tumble drier today! (Obviously they're not as cool as Emma's...) But yay for me!
Ooh, and yesterday I had the most amazing shopping trip. I found a fantastic brooch-type-pin thing and got 3 more black jumpery tops! Although only one's v-neck, so you should be proud of me. I also got a skirt (which ok I'm never going to wear), a pair of trousers, and some little strappy tops.
