"They would not want us to live in the past."
I... I miss you all. More than anything.
Why I am I still here?
...
No. Why am I still here, in this place? I'm sick of this. I'm sick of all of this. There are no explanations. No answers, nothing.
... Ugh.
[[On July 17th, 1918, Tsar Nicholas II and his family were shot and killed in the Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. Technically, Rasputin curses the family to die "within a fortnight", but I am too much of a history nerd to not try and fit real historical events into Anastasia's admittedly inaccurate timeline (the 300th anniversary of Romanov rule was actually in 1913, not 1916, and the Revolution started in February of 1917... I could go on). In the movie, the family's exact fate is never specified, and Anastasia's survival kept the curse from being completely fulfilled anyway, so it's not too much of a stretch to think that things could still have happened similarly to history immediately following the events of the prologue.
tl;dr Thia is a history nerd. Anya'll be more upbeat soon, I promise. OTL ||| ]]
