A rather rough day.

Last Friday I didn't have to go to work, which was good, since I didn't get home from the New Year's party until 5 AM.  Ordinarily, I'd have done my LOTR marathon then, but I had plans for later that day and I was throwing a wine tasting party Saturday night, so I decided to clean my house instead.  My plans?  Run a few errands, go to shooting

You might want to check the comment I put on the main thread for Lijuun. It's really hard for guys to think above our belts. As we grow up we get better at it. Sounds like this one has a little way to go.

The thing to remember is that his brain doesn't work like yours does. To some extent it never will.

First of all, where is Mr. Thornton? Well, he has the audacity to NOT EXIST. The nerve! Mr. Darcy is pulling the same thing! We cannot let them get away with this! :(

Yeah, 22 yo w/his mind in the gutter or an absentee date? That's about the best you can expect in the dating world today. A long-married friend asked me today, "Is that what it's like out there?" Yes. Yes it it.

My married friends just don't know what to say to me about dating. They usually say, "i'd still be single and not dating at all." I mean, i don't even know where to meet people. And my new thing is that if you can't trust the guys you THINK you know, how do you trust any guy? Sigh.
Like, i actually realized i LIKED being in a relationship and stuff, and was GOOD at it; but i don't know if i miss it enough to date any more. Sigh.
