Well, here's something even more stupid:

I just put a bigger ear plug on my ear - I was wearing a 4mm and I stuffed a 6mm. It's hurting like a bitch and my mom disapproves like hell, which makes the pain ok. It looks cool, now and I'm going to stick to 6mm, because otherwise is ridiculous.
On another, more serious, note, I just watched "Invisible Children - Sunday, the story of a displaced child". The whole situation just reminded me of the favelas here in Brazil. Still, people here are a little bit better. A little.
That stuff from City of God and Elite Squad? That is real, favelas are really like that. I know it because, beside the fact that my college is located just beside my city's hugest favela, I went inside once when I was doing charity job.
At least there isn't any wars and kid soldiers around (though there are kids involved with drug dealing).
