I forgot to download my own community's SLC banner from tinypic so it is gone. I took away the annoying frowny face and just added another picture for now. I didnt know if it would work but it did yay. Just click my new pic and you can go to my recipe community.

How strange the replacement picture is pink cupcakes. Not sure how you are seeing those frowny faces.

Where is the pink cupcakes photo uploaded? Is it also at TinyPic? Or somewhere else like image shack or Flickr?
I had a similar problem with Google Photos a while ago - the photos stored there were visible to everyone until Google changed their policies and decided that only the owner of the Google account could see them.

I think it's still TinyPic that has messed me up. It's deleted everything and I didn't think about saving it until it was to late.

It's very odd. I had a look at the community source code (right click on the page and select view source) and every single image being served is the same - the frownyface - and it's stored at Livejournal - which makes no sense whatsoever!

My guess is that LJ might have done a blanket replacement of all Tinypic images when Timypic closed so that at least users knew where to go to look for an explanation when they wondered why their images were missing.

I moved my image-hosting to Flickr but Imageshack and imagebox are pretty good too I believe.

I think I fixed the problem I believe it is changed now.

Yay I got on the laptop and off my phone. Then it became easier to fix. My phone only has a white screen.😊

At least it looks more like a community again.
