Last night was movie night

Hubby and I went to see a free screening last night at AMC. The movie was called Edge of 17(No spoilers). It was very good such sold acting from everyone. I adore Woody Harrelson and Kyra Sedgwick, they were both awesome. The young girl Hailee Steinfield was brilliant her acting was honest, snarky and real. We laughed all throughout the movie so it had a lot of light moments. It was a charming, angsty,sad coming of age film. I told my hubby it felt like it had been forever since we had gone to see a movie. Just a real movie not a CGI filled with explosions and excitement throughout blockbuster. I love those so much but wish for more variety. It was like a John Hughs film so yay for that!
