Time of birth? 9:32 (i think...ugh...embarrassing. i have it written down, i promise)

How long did labor last? active labor about 8 hours

Who was in the room when baby was born? matt, me, jenifer, our midwife and her assistant...and then zoe;)

How long did you push? about 5 minutes--maybe

Weight? 9lbs. 8oz.

Any hair? a good bit and it was reddish blonde!!!?????

Who does baby look like? she's a bit of each of us. she has matt's smile though and that pleases me immensely.

How much weight did you gain while pregnant? 26 pounds
13 Was baby late or early? 5 days "late"...exactly when she was meant to come

Who drove you home from the hospital? homebirth...born in the room she was made in:)

When did baby start sleeping through the night? (at least 5 hours) she slept 4 hour stretches right away. that freaked me out...but now that i'm used to it, i rarely notice when or how often she wakes.

Did you breastfeed? yes...and we still are.

Who keeps your baby the most? i am with her most of the time.

When do you wanna have another one? i think we are done.

How did you pick the name? it took us several days to come up with a name. finally we sat down made a list and "graded" them. we looked at her and decided which one fit her.

Where was the baby born? at the foot of our bed. on the birth stool.

How did you know when it was time to go to hospital? If there had been an emergency, I would have known, trust me. **ditto to alexis' answer**

Did you go home or somewhere else when you left the hospital? stayed peacefully in our own bed and nursed, slept, cuddled for several hours.

Anyone spend the night with you first night home? jenifer stayed with us.

Did you cry the first time you held your baby? actually, i don't think so. i said "come here, my beautiful girl." and i kissed her. i had no idea she was all slippery and covered in birth stuff until i watched the dvd. i really love that part...none of that mattered in the moment. i was in a state of absolute joy!
