When we lose a loved one suddenly or even if we know that loved one is dying, the last things that loved one did or said becomes very important to us. We remember every word and every gesture. A person's loved ones often talk those things over comparing notes.
The Passion week is Jesus' last week on this earth. Everything Jesus did and said is of the utmost importance but the events of this last week even more so. . He rode in to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday knowing that he was on the way to cross. His lessons to the people and the things He did and the things He said to His disciples matter.
This Sunday my pastor gave us homework. This is a special week. It is Passion Week. Passion week started with Palm Sunday and will end with Easter. Due to the scriptures we know exactly what Jesus did and said on Monday, Tuesday and so on of this week. This week Pastor encouraged us to read the scriptures that fit that day of the week in the passion week and mediate on what Jesus said and did that day.
I know this is a little late. I have been a little too busy. I hope you catch up and join us in these readings. Think about Jesus and what He did on Tuesday and Thursday and so forth. Mediate and pray about these things. I hope you are all blessed.
