my baloney has a first name .... it's h-o-m-e-r ...

maybe not.

so I'm looking into getting me a futon at work, we have a couple nice ones that are between $170 and $190 including everything, the frame and the mattress. Which isn't too bad, since I have a coupon for an extra ten percent off of one item next month.

The minor problem? The frame I like, doesn't go with the mattress I like, and the mattress I like, has a different frame.

Which wouldn't be too bad if they were the same price. The one I like? Frame wise anyway? Is the more expensive one. But, it's a wooden frame. The mattress I like [a bit thicker by a couple inches, but by length they're the same length of 6 feet.] is on the cheaper frame.

So my makeshift plan is that my younger sister buys the other one, and we trade mattresses [or frames lol]. I even told her that I would use the discount on the more expensive thing [do two orders if I have to] but she's not sure. 20% off of $190 before tax is about $155ish, then about $165ish. [Okay, according to my calculator its like $152 then $162 after lol] the other one would be about $150 after taxes and such.

I've been wanting to get a new bed for a while, I don't quite like hanging off the edge, and when a certain ladyfriend comes over, we'll have more room so I don't accidentally fall off the side .... While I'd rather have a queen size, I'm not going to throw too much of a fit over getting a full size futon that's all sorts of uber comfy.
