Under the volcano
S and I have been in Costa Rica for the last two weeks, riding horses in Arenal and on the west coast with a bunch of crazy women.
Beautiful country - macaws, birds of all description, monkeys, coatimundis (like raccoons but smaller and funnier), flowers, trees.
We're stuck in the San Jose (CR) airport now awaiting our incoming plane, which has been delayed by the intensely cold weather in the northeast.
So it's time to get working on those yuletide requests that I haven't forgotten.
When I get a chance I'll post some pictures of the ride. The byword down here - answer to everything - is pura vida, pure life. Not a bad philosophy to live by.
