Nick must've taken a wrong turn somewhere in the Nexus. This sure didn't look like Tasha's place in Italy. Still, it was beautiful. Most importantly quiet. Having Tasha, John and the kids around was nice to help with the babies, but it was rather loud and something was always going on. Nick could use a few quiet moments to catch his breath. This looks like a perfect place to do it.
He spots a familiar figure sitting uphead. He walks up and stops near the man.
Apollo doens't start when Nick speaks. If there's one thing most people have learnt, it's that it's generally very difficult to surprise any member of the Authority.
Even Apollo when he's not quite drunk.
"Sure. Grab a rock. I'd reccomend this one, but I'm sitting on it."
"Son, I like ya, but not enough t' get that close," Nick chuckles and grabs a seat not too far from Apollo. "Ya look like someone tryin' to find some peace an' quiet, or lookin' t' forget somethin'."
Australia was nearly becoming home to Sam. Not because of the place but the people. Not just Ainka but Tom and Cain as well. But despite the beaty of it all, she was realistic enough to know it had to end.
So she sought out the one person she know thought of when things go tough and she had a decision to make.
"You're amazingly hard to find,' Sam notes, dropping down beside him.
"I know, aren't I just? They spent a week looking for me with no luck until I turned up under my own terms." He points a finger at her without turning to look. "The moral of the story is- Don't attract psychos, or play hide and seek with them."
He bumps her shoulder lightly. "Sorry if I freaked you out the other day."
"I will be with a couple more bottles of this in me." He waves the vodka. He is scarily sober for a man who has drunk that much: if you're not used to post-human metabolism that is.
"Up until that point, I'm not sure. I tried to flatten Winter, went John with a metal bar and smashed in Jack's nose, so I'm going to hazard a guess and say 'probably not quite yet'. But I will be." He takes another drink.

She was quiet a small moment before whispering. "So you're okay now?"
