It's not gum. It's BALLS.

Eduardo, his dad, and I went to see Dane Cook at UCF last night. Man, that was a great show. It was about 90% new material, which is a very good ratio in my opinion.

When we arrived there were two long lines outside, one for people with tickets and one for students. Apparently they weren't letting anyone in for at least another hour. Luckily the ticket line was the shorter one. I also assumed they would let that one in first since purchasing a ticket should assure a seat inside and the students were getting in for free. I can only assume this for reasons that will become apparent.

While waiting in the line it became clear that storm clouds were headed our way. It was already a bit overcast, but there were some really dark clouds threatening rain. Oh sure, at first we joked about how we'd be able to tell when the rain was coming because it would hit the other line first and we'd hear people going "Ahhhh!" and such. And this proved to be the case. We laughed about it until the rain hit us, at which point we all went "Ahhhh!" because it was some damn cold rain. This, with at least 40 minutes before they were going to let people in.

And the rain only got worse.

It was actually kind of funny how right we were. There would be this trail of "Ahhhh!"s that would get closer and closer until even more cold rain hit us, at which point we and everyone around us would go "Ahhhh!" It still makes me chuckle. =)

When the rain really started to come down everyone just rushed to the entrance. We were getting absolutely soaked, and the rain showed no sign of letting up. And then the cold gusts of wind started. We chanted (LET US IN! LET US IN!). We threatened (IF YOU DON'T LET US IN RIGHT NOW I'M GOING TO GO IN THERE, GRAB YOU BY THE EARS, AND RIP YOUR FUCKING HEADS RIGHT OFF!). We pleaded (WHY OH WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US? PLEASE LET US IN!). But still they made us wait outside in the rain, refusing to allow anyone in until the appointed time.

So we just did what any mob would do: we forced our way in.

Anyway, the show was really great and there are a list of things I will never look at quite the same again:

- The Predator

- Press Your Luck

- The Mario Bros Theme

- Grand Moff Tarkin
