Fiction: Ernest Hemingway: A farewell to arms: I recommend this book highly. Why because it's just awesome! It is about War and love. and whatever. But it is wonderfully written. And it's by fucking Hemingway dude!
Gideon DeFoe- Pirates on adventures with scientist!: this is a short quick read. But it is really really cute and funny! I laughed. It has Charles darwin in it. And a manpanzee, and the pirate with a green scarf!! and the Pirate captain has a really fancy beard. Fancier then any other pirate beard! and it's just a really really really good book. It is rather humorous. I enjoyed this throughly.
J.D.Salinger-Cather in the rye: If you havent read this by the time you entered college. You are slow (I know all of you havent so it amuses me!). It is kind of a strange book, but it give you kind of a weird perspective on life, as we are "supposed" to live it. I enjoyed.
Neil Gaiman-Coraline: (CORA-Line) It's not a long book maybe a twenty minuet read. it's not really fiction. It's an Ir (Intermediate reader) But it's by Neil gaiman. And it's cute and quite frankly creeped me out a smidge. So yeah read it! NOW!!! I SAID NOW!!
John Steinbeck- (Grape of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, East of Eden.) Anything by this man is always awesomely depressing it's not even funny. He speaks for the "minority". you could say. All his books are amazing. AMAZING!!! He's one of those authors you really like but never really realized you really like. Yeah he's great.
Yann Martel- life of Pi: I have been telling certain people to read this book. It was great and Mike i think you'll love it! I honestly do.
Mitch Albom-=Tuesdays with Morrie: Yeah. Sad. Very very very very very very Sad. But it is a must read and you shall read it.
Edgar Allen Poe-Do i have to list them? seriously? come on! Mr. Poe? his complete works is wonderful.
Fantasy- Robert Jordan-Wheel of time series- Kill Sarah, kill her kill her kill her! she got me started on this series, and book 9&10 kind of slow down, but it is a really good series.
Tara K harper-Wolfwalker Series; I have loved these books since i lived in wisconsin. it is an awesome series, there are only four or five, (Five damnit five!) in the series, but it is a really good read.
Neil Gaiman( American gods, Neverwhere, Goodomens{with Terry pratchett})Must i say this people!? IT'S NEIL FUCKING GAIMAN!! the man is a GENIUS!! A GENIUS!!! BOW DOWN BEFORE HIS GLORY!!
Sci-Fi (I do not dabble in the sci fi part of this but there is one series that i really like that's sci fi not Fantasy)
Tara K Harper-Big cat series: Seems strange i know but it's about a scienctist on another planet, that has some weird connection. It has all the wicked crazy weird made up words that make you kind of go huh? and make you worry if you are saying them right but eh who care. It's an awesome series.
