So, uh, I got a phone call today. From a chick. Who thought I was a chick named Merideth. Apparently Merideth's friend has been out of the US for a while and has come back... for revenge to party.
At least, that's what she said on the voicemail she left me.
In other news, I've just realized that I have recently developed a noticeable libertarian leaning. It's not the core of my political beliefs as I'm still left-of-center, but it's there and it will not be ignored.
I actually think it's been there for a long time, in some form or another, and has only recently found reason to make its presence known. The fact that I've been exposed to libertarian ideas expressed on certain forums has only helped give a voice to the thoughts that were already present in my mind.
Really though, I think this is ultimately just an expression of my nature to try and take the middle road and to avoid extremes in general. That's just the kind of guy I am, reasonable to the point where it's a flaw. Mostly.
