So today started off like it would be a good day. After a somewhat slow day yesterday, today I was working on not one, but two projects. Sure, one of them seemed kind of long, but that was no barrier to my feeling of contentness.
In short, today has sucked. I left my debit card at home, so I could not go shopping for food, nor could I go to the mall to buy clothes I so desperately need. I messed up both of my experiments, which is not the end of the world but certainly annoying because I will have to re-do them tomorrow. No test results today, even though the tests take twenty minutes to do, but my doctor's lab sucks. I've been messing stuff up left and right today.
Okay, I can go shopping tomorrow or, more likely, Thursday, when I get paid. I have food, and I have clothes. I can take a nap tonight, or get stuff done around the apartment. My experiments were both trial runs, so it's not a huge deal of the experiments don't work.
Ever have one of those days where the little things are so abundant that you feel you need a big thing to counter-balance? I think that's how I feel today.
