Quick post from NYC
It's only been two days..but it feels like I've been here two weeks. (In a good way) My brain is so full of ideas I need to start writing things down before I loose it in a blur of sequins. We've seen 3 burlesque shows and taken one burlesque class together. Linked to the first show already. Saw This one. And this one. Today she is off at the performing arts library and I've got the day to myself. Unfortunately I've come down with a chest cold and am going to crash out for a bit. We went to St. John the Divine this morning..my favorite church of all time. This afternoon I'll be having coffee w/ Meredith and then meeting up with Zay and Lisa to go see www.mondaynightburlesque.com It's practically a Who's Who of burlesque shows tonight. I'll be squeeing my little heart out.
