Catching up
....if you've been waiting for questions from me for the interview meme I've posted all but two requests.
In other news..
Today I meet with my mentors to plan out my honors projects this summer. I've spent the morning searching through the National Center for PTSD's website and have clarified without question that this kind of work is what I want to do. The good news for me in that department is that the military continues to look to public mental health professionals to supplementtheir needs.
As I was searching for "prevention and ptsd" I came across a news article about new research being done at Ft. Hood. 500 soldiers that have not been previously deployed are being (voluntarily) tested and will be tested post deployment to compare differences in a number of areas. FINALLY. This is the research I am interested in.
Expect a lot more link heavy posts on ptsd soon.
