Chop Tops
Ahhhhh.... *sigh* I just got 6 inches ish cut off my hair...and had it thinned. My head is so much lighter. I love this feeling. It's just past my shoulders now...so still plenty long. Much more manageble now. I went to Chop Tops. Which as it turns out is just around the corner from our house. It's all decked out Retro/Pin-up/Rockabilly style. The History of Burlesque is in their waiting area. =D Very fun. Alison cut my hair and waxed my brows. We got along famously. She has an 18 month old daughter and a boyfriend in Iraq so we had loads to talk about ... yah.... toddlers, soldiers and burlesque.... our lives intersect.
The cut is pretty simple, I've just never had it like this before. It's not unlike Kate's in my icon. Deep part on the right side with long layers sweeping over. Whole goal was to be able to do something like this for Burly-Q purposes. I've never had my hair cut with the part on the right. I always have it on the left...so there will be a bit of a learning curve for this one. Simple as it is.
Yea! Beauty Day! :D OH...and took a serious dose of Fem-u-Go this morning and did some Mighty house cleaning. God bless Midol.
