re: my grandma and other news...
so in case you were interested, my grandma is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, all contained in the right side of her chest. she starts chemotherapy on friday afternoon, and my mom is taking all her fridays off work to be with grandma and grandpa for the rest of the school year. doctors are saying we have 6-12 months with her, and double that if she responds to chemo. there was a lot of emotions this weekend. i'm kinda worn out from all the crying. mom's friends suggested someone create a blog for grandma to keep all her friends updated on what is going on with her health. i thought that was a good idea.
also, i just read the entire next chapter for a quiz i thought i was supposed to take for statistics before tomorrow morning. guess what? there is no quiz. joke's on me. so after I finish here, I'm going to the spss lab to do the assignment, and then hauling myself to the gym. i did get in a 20 minute power nap before i read my chapter, so hopefully i'll have enough energy to burn for a good workout.
i tried to go to my advisor this morning, and she wasn't there during her office hour at all. so i guess i'll have to make an appointment. i really would rather talk to her than the head of the department. that lady scares me a little.
