From a Passion Parties group email, regarding different personality types and how to work with them (I'm assuming this is intended to pertain to both customers/hostesses and coworkers):
"Care Bears [Golden Retrievers] possibly let people off the hook a little too easily for fear of being "pushy". Help them to have a paradigm shift and realize that an objection is just someone looking for more information." [emphasis mine]
Really? That's fascinating, because here I always thought "no" means "no." Isn't that the same rationale that rapists use? "She didn't REALLY mean no...she was just looking for more information!"
Ugh. And people wonder why I'm disenchanted with PP? It is stuff like this that they keep trying to force down my throat.
