But the days grow short when you reach September, when the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame

Gretchen came over last night. Thanks to a wretchedly late bus (almost 40 minutes late!!!), we didn't get anything done. After taking her to aerial class, I came home and crashed on the couch.
At 7pm.
However, she brought me a lovely potted oregano plant, as good feng shui for the new place. Apparently it's also quite tasty!

At 12:30-something, I finally went to bed. Got up at 6:55am.
12 hours of sleep IS A GLORIOUS THING. And I need more of it in my life! It's amazing how actually rested I feel today. And yet, I feel like I could sleep some more.
However, it meant that I got fuck-all done in terms of unpacking/sorting/cleaning. Guess what? I don't care! I deserved a night of rest. TOTALLY.

Fun Factoid of the Day:
Did you know there's a replica of Stonehenge in Washington State? I kinda want to see it (I've seen the original), even though I know it was erected for a different purpose.

And I get a package in the mail today (*WINK WINK*). I get to see Wicked tomorrow, start aerial classes on Sunday, and probably going to Shawn's sister's "cabin" (this cabin is to "rustic" as a Hummer is to "car") in Cle Elum for the rest of the weekend, followed by book club for Les Liasions Dangerouses upon my return.

This is shaping up to be an EXCELLENT Labor Day weekend. What are your plans, friendsies? And notlostonme, I have a proposition for you. Please to be commenting/emailing/calling/texting when you get a minute, mmmmkay?

My goodness, this "lazy" mouse emoticon gets a flabby tummy! That's funny right there. :P
