The Cabiri is featured The Arts section of the Seattle Times today! In the picture they used, from last year's "Gods of the Night" show, there is a dark blob on lower left of the picture. I am one of those dark blobs! *Cue "I'm the King of the New York," plskthx*
And that is a not-so-subtle reminder that Daedalus Rising is TONIGHT! I know a bunch of you are coming, but if you're undecided for WHATEVER reason... make up your mind to go. Or be very, very prepared for the pain, mmmkay? I play with fire and I will burn yo' ass. KIDDING! Fire is not a toy - it's WAY niftier than any old toy!
I got a ton of CD's through the public library lately - I went through my (rather extensive) wishlist and put everything I could get through the library on reserve and am ripping to my computer for some new listenin'. So far I've gotten about a third of my "order" in:

Still pending at the library includes soundtracks from August Rush and Little Miss Sunshine, Colbie Callait, canticles by Hildegard of Binghen, and so on and so forth. Eclectic music tastes, much?
Shawn's sister friended me on Facebook the other day, and poking through her photo albums, I found what might be the best picture I've ever seen of Shawn - a shot from her wedding reception (she eloped shortly before Shawn and I started dating). I just love how relaxed and happy he is here!
Today I am getting a ticket to see RENT! with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. YAY!
Also, getting signed up as a Passion Party consultant via electriclime. YEAH BABY!
Tonight I perform with The Cabiri, as noted above. WOOT!
Tomorrow I leave for Wenatchee and Apple Blossom, WHEE!
