Thursday really was a lovely birthday - thanks to everyone for their well-wishes (I actually DID have a very happy birthday, thank you!) and I thought it was a lot of fun at Madame K's last night. I was a little nervous about mixing 3 different groups that I associate with, but I think everyone got along smashingly. Shawn didn't care much for our waitress, so it might be a while before he will want to go back, but I thought it was tasty, if very RICH, food! Next time I should get the thin crust.
Thanks to everyone for celebrating ME, haha. I am really a very lucky girl! My friends are the best gifts of all!!!
After tromping through puddles all around downtown Seattle on Wednesday night (I told the WW people they should take off a pound, because water-logged jeans weigh more...), I have decided that I need a pair of cute winter galoshes. Which of these options should I get?

Also, I seem to have the Plague. Please to be sending reinforcements. I have been piling on the Zican, Cold-eeze, liquids, and possibly some leftover pizza and coconut cream pie. Feed a cold, starve a fever, right?!
Shawn and I want to do something fun tomorrow - go out and DO something (his suggestion!). Trouble is, we're stuck on what to do, because we don't want to be outside due nasty winter weather! So going to the Zoo is out (we only saw half of it last time), but maybe the Aquarium? Any other thoughts? I checked IMAX, and we are not interested in any movies currently playing there.
