Rain, rain, go away! Don't come back another day!
Seems like a good night to go home and stay the fuck there! State of Emergency has been declared for Western Washington. Stay safe, kiddos. Let's all blog about how teh rains did not stay in teh plains!
It took me 45 minutes to go 6 miles into work today. WTF?! I've said it before, and I'll say it again - of all people, Seattlites should be able to drive in RAIN. The West Seattle Bridge was down to 1 lane this morning. FUN! My techs don't like it much either - but I told them to put their big mechanic's panties on and deal with it.
For those who have seen Enchanted, you may have noticed some familiar faces/voices or hidden things in the movie. The official trivia tells me that the voice actresses of Ariel, Belle and Pocahontas made cameos and I went "oh DUH!" So now I need to go see this again!!!
As my 25th natality approaches, I have been undecided as to how to commemorate such an occasion. That was, however, until my girl friends came up with a BRILLIANT plan - A Birthday Extravanga Weekend! The schedule would be as follows:
Thursday: Ladies Night @ Chopstix (men can come too)
Friday: Bowling (there's lanes in West Seattle)
Saturday (early afternoon): Banya5 Spa visit
Saturday (evening): Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn
This way, people can come to whatever suits their schedules, and those who make it to all four really, really must love me! :P Now, the big decision - to do this the weekend before or after the big day (which is on a TUESDAY, ugh). I'm thinking after, so that it's not like 2 days after New Year's. What say you, friends?
